In my first year at Stanford, I assisted on projects ranging from droplet microfluidics for single-cell analysis to flow cytometry-based screening of transcriptional activation and repression domains within human transcription factors. Prior to joining these labs, I studied Bioengineering at Rice University and worked in fluorescent sensor engineering via high-throughput microscopy in the St-Pierre Lab at Baylor College of Medicine. My broad goals are to apply new technologies in assay multiplexing (e.g. microfluidics, sequencing) to research questions in mammalian epigenetics, bridging quantitative in vitro measures of individual cellular components with in cellulo measures of phenotype.
